Screen Goo Japan Launches at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo
The Canadian Embassy in Tokyo recently played host to the official launch of Screen Goo Japan. Formed by Masa Morikawa and Eddie Yoda, specifically to market and distribute Goo coatings, Screen Goo Japan will be dedicated to servicing the Goo needs of AV companies, systems integrators, consumer electronics retailers and custom installers. Mr. Morikawa-san and Mr. Yoda-san bring between them many years of experience in the Japanese projection screen industry. The depth of this experience, and the excellent reputation that they have forged, was evidenced by the strong turnout of almost 100 key players from the Japanese AV industry at the Embassy. Attendees had the opportunity to see and evaluate the performance of a large CRT White screen, a multi-segment screen composed of adjacent CRT White, Digital Grey Lite, Digital Grey and Ultra Grey sections and an application of Screen Goo Rear Projection on glass. Masa Kimura-san of Screen Goo Japan conducted application demonstrations over the course of the day and invited attendees to try their hand at applying Screen Goo so that they could experience for themselves just how straightforward the process is. Kaori Yanagi-san, Sales and Project Manager for Screen Goo Japan, Chris Cladis of Screen Goo Asia and Kevin Nute of Goo Systems were on hand to demonstrate the considerable merits and answer attendees questions.
Screen Goo Japan, Screen Goo Asia and Goo Systems were all very honoured and grateful to have Canadian Trade Commissioner and Counselor for High Technology, Benoit Préfontaine, formally welcome attendees to the Embassy and to formally introduce Mr. Nute and Mr. Cladis to the assembled attendees.
