Videofilm Systems and Screen Goo Provide Backdrop for Major Saudi Pageant
Dale Cihi, president of Videofilm Systems of Norwalk, CN, has just completed a fantastic project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Using Screen Goo Rear Projection coating and shark's tooth scrim, Mr. Cihi created an enormous projection surface which was also capable of upstage reveals. This surface was implemented in a mind-boggling multimedia stage presentation of the origins of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Sponsored by Saudi broadcaster MBC, the Janadriya show featured a huge cast, live horses on stage and, of course, video backdrops projected onto the Goo coated scrim. The pageant was a tremendous success and drew high praise from members of the Saudi Royal Family.
